This work aims to address how one can approach ideas of identity and perception in relation to or in contention with the landscape. Harris focuses on the ways that her created character of at the chimera, a symbolic representation of the human psyche, struggles to identity itself in relation to other beings and how the landscape shapes and direct those endeavours. She also deals with the distorted or disruptive nature of perception.
